  • EUA (European University Association) represents and supports higher education institutions in 47 countries, providing them with a unique forum to cooperate and keep abreast of the latest trends in higher education and research policies.

  • EUA CDE (Council for Doctoral Education). The mission is to contribute to the development, advancement and improvement of doctoral education and research training in Europe.

  • ECHIC (European Consortium for Humanities Institutes and Centres) is a university-based initiative to organise European Research Institutes, Humanities Faculties and Centres for the Humanities.

  • GUNI (Global University Network for Innovation). The mission is to strengthen the role of higher education in society contributing to the renewal of the visions, missions and policies of higher education across the world under a vision of public service, relevance and social responsibility.

  • UNIADRION (Virtual University of the Adriatic-Ionian Basin). UniAdrion is a "Network of Universities" established with the purpose to create a permanent connection among Universities and Research centres from the Adriatic-Ionian Region.

  • EUROPORTFOLIO (European Network of ePortfolio Experts and Practitioners). The goal of Europortfolio is to contribute to the realisation of a European area for lifelong learning, using ePortfolios as a means to support reflective learning and practice as well as transparency and trust across all the actors involved in education and employment.

  • UNISCAPE (European Network of Universities for the implementation of the European Landscape convention).The aim is to support and reinforce interdisciplinary co-operation within and among European universities regarding landscape issues, especially in the areas of research and education.

  • OSSREA (Organization for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa). The mission is to promote dialogue and interaction between researchers and policy-makers in Eastern and Southern Africa with a view to enhancing the impact of research on policy-making and development planning.

  • Echalliance (European Connected Health Alliance) is an initiative designed to support and promote the wider adoption of healthcare and wellbeing (including sports and fitness) products, services, applications and innovation. In bringing together commercial, academic and healthcare stakeholders, ECHAlliance facilitates focused leadership for the development of ‘Connected and MHealth’ markets and practices across Europe and beyond. The scope includes the economic development of the full range of eHealth, EHR TeleCare, TeleHealth Telemonitoring and MHealth sectors.

  • EARMA (European Association of Research Managers and Administrators) The members work at the forefront of building the European Research Area. They form the interface between research funding organisations and the scientific community, bridging cultural and legal differences between countries, and between academia and industry, contributing to policy consultations, and managing the smooth running of research projects.
