Marija Šegan

segan

Marija Šegan, Research assistant at Mathematical Institute SANU, has a degree in history and is a PhD candidate at the University of Belgrade.

She is engaged in national cultural heritage digitization project financed by the Ministry of education, science and technological development (project III44006), and hold the title of MC Substitute Member for European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) action IS 1005:

Medieval Europe – Medieval Cultures and Technological Resources (2013 – 2015). Awarded Collaborative European Digital Archive Infrastructure

(CENDARI) fellowship for research proposal: ‘Creating the Registry of Digital Sources on Foreign Medical Missions in Serbia during the WWI (1914 – 1918)’ (2013), and recognition “Archon of open access of the University of Belgrade” in 2014. Published several scientific papers in the field of cultural heritage digitization and its use in educational work. Since 2013, participates in organization of the manifestation May Month of Mathematics in Belgrade.
