Since 1994 he participated in the research units of Macerata University in Gortyn (Crete) and from 2013 he is the Director of the archaeological mission of the same University.
He has involved in archaeological and topographical researches in the ancient Piceno and from the 2013 he is the Director of the archaeological mission of the University of Macerata in Urbs Salvia.
He has had part in several excavations in Italy and abroad, assuming also the directive role
Former coordinator of the Archaeological map of Marche Region (CAM), directs the Project for the archaeological map of the province of Macerata.
He designed and realized, also in large research groups, museums and archaeological parks and is the coordinator of the Cultural District Project of the Marche Region "PlayMarche".
Author of more than 190 publications and he has attended several scientific meetings, organizing or having a role in organizing committees and scientific exhibitions, conferences.
